Hindmarsh-Rose neuron

Three-variable model of neuronal bursting and spiking. At the classical injected current I ≈ 3.25, the model shows chaotic bursting; scrub I to walk through the bursting / spiking spectrum.

dx/dt = y − a x³ + b x² − z + I
dy/dt = c − d x² − y
dz/dt = r ( s ( x − x_R ) − z )

classical: a = 1, b = 3, c = 1, d = 5, s = 4, x_R = −1.6,
           r = 0.005, I ≈ 3.25  →  chaotic bursting
