How to read this
Each vertical strip is one value of r. For each r we burn in 400 iterations to settle on the attractor, then plot the next 200 iterates. A single dot = fixed point; two dots = period-2; clouds of dots = chaos. The Feigenbaum period-doubling cascade is visible as the branching pattern of an oak tree.
