Chen system
Discovered by Guanrong Chen (1999). Topologically distinct from Lorenz despite a similar form. Often studied alongside Lorenz and Lü as the canonical generalised-Lorenz family.
Equations
dx/dt = a (y − x)
dy/dt = (c − a) x − x z + c y
dz/dt = x y − b zAt a glance
| Parameters | a = 35, b = 3, c = 28 (classical) |
